The Baku City’s unparalleled blend of narrow kinks along with long straights was expected to produce quite a drama but that wasn’t meant to be. Hamilton was one of the few to fall foul of the latest layout in Azerbaijan on the weekend.
Resulting the caution induced in him because of the unpleasant experiences all day, Hamilton did exactly this, as he along with the rest tip-toed their way off the line. At just a turn, Rosberg led from Sebastial Vettel, Daniel Ricciardo and Kimi Raikkonen; while Hamilton stayed down still at10th, the position he began from. Despite of his partner being 8 seconds ahead of him in the first lap alone, the three times world champion stated on Saturday night that the victory for them wasn’t quite possible. Racing Betting

After the power failure and an argumentative conversation with his team, Hamilton kept his focus on his part of job and soon enough the power came back but by then it was too late.
Another unexpected highlight of the race was Perez who, after giving viewers load of entertainment, astounded everyone in the race. He just left Kimi Raikonnen behind him in the very first lap and thus bagged the well deserved position he got. Despite starting in seventh, he reached out to second; all this after getting a five place grid penalty on changing his gearbox. Raikkonen (who finished fourth) had a similar day to that of Hamilton. Vettel had some initial difficulties overcoming which he finally landed on the second position.
All in all, it was an unlucky day for the champion however surely one of the most memorable one for Nico Rosberg.
