PES has always given a tough competition to FIFA while, FIFA spent all it’s time running for the money and famous personalities, PES set forward to make a great soccer game and became one of the most preferred choices for the fans. Similar to EA’s faults during the PS2 era, PES also faltered during generation of xbox 360 and PS3, it struggled with the new technology and was unable to recreate that magic until very recently. With the present year’s releases, it features fine refinements, a successive building of license and a further adoption of the insanely popular trading card modes are a few of the features that the gamers seem to love and have attracted a larger audience for the game.
PSE 16 is better than its previous versions
FIFA has always been gamers’ first choice
But with the latest advancements in PES, it seems to be catching up with FIFA in the race of the most preferred games amongst the audience. Fans did yearn for series for it more pure and less corporate approach towards soccer and it has helped the game regain its spark and position amongst the audience. The fox engine on the other hand has also done wonders for Pro Evolution Soccer’s animations and has definitely helped the flow of the play. The team mate Al on the other hand does all this wonderful running into space that it’s supposed to do and it also reacts to the gamer doing the same, the plus point of which is that one does not get trapped in a loop and is not engaged in a tussle with the fellow players. In fact, it has been said that the whole thing does feel a little bit weightier according to the gamers but in the good way, of course and adds to the whole charm of the game.
If it was to be compared with its toughest competitor’s “hold and sprint and dribble style”, it would have a upper hand because of the fact that PES gives one that much needed moment to poise, slow down the play, read the players’ moves and doings and actually gain more control over the proceedings. Probably one of PES’s best features would be that it has always been a team game and the dynamics of the players clearly reflect the same. The players have that personalized sense of strength and style which also gives each squad a more intimate feel and the gamers feel more connected, if one must say.
In closing, a lot of PES’s praise worthy features can be mentioned, which starting from the finesse of the goals, which has the gamers floored should be the first one to be appreciated, the gamers continuously have been raving the about the smoothness of every shot, it is struck so sweetly which then hits the target, or to the worse misses it but the entire experience deserves a mention. PES does lack in terms of real names but it surely makes up for it the exclusive, official competition licenses, it can be safely said that a lot of these features represent a gaping hole in FIFA’s sky sport sheen. PES’16 has also been said to have better graphics, it feels better and definitely looks better since the graphics have been powered by the same technology that runs all the latest Metal Gear Solid games, so the way in which players are seen moving and colliding with each other on the pitch, creates for a great spectacle.
PES also allows the gamers to really get their guards on
Starting from the very basic level itself, one can adjust the in-game, decide how far up the pitch and the defensive line can venture from the goalkeepers, moreover, setting two different formations for when one is in and out of possession also gives the gamers more control over their team plays. In general, PES celebrations also have more characters than FIFA and these characters are seen engaging themselves in impromptu group photo sessions in front of the paparazzi, involves other team-mates for high fives as well, all in all, stands up for an interesting option. PES 2016 makes up the best combination of both fun and realism.
